Trajectories of living standards in the modern world: information and analytical review

Abstract

Введение. В статье рассмотрена категория «уровень жизни» как комплексная, многогранная, структурированная, динамическая социально-экономическая категория. Показана целесообразность ее измерения и оценивания на всех уровнях территориальной агрегации на основе объективных и субъективных оценок. Обязателен учет влияния на показатели уровня жизни неравномерности регионального развития и включение в их информационные системы социальных индикаторов. Отражена динамика важнейших показателей уровня жизни в России и регионах Южного федерального округа. Осуществлен обзор рейтинговых оценок, составленных на основе значения индекса человеческого развития за 2022 г. и результатов информационно-аналитического обзора Ipsos Global Trends 2023 относительно глобальных трендов, определяющих поведение и предпочтения потребителей и оказывающих серьезное влияние на экономическую и социальную сферы. Материалы и методы. Категория «уровень жизни» является многоаспектной и многогранной, ее измерение, анализ и оценивание основываются на интегральной информационной системе, отражающей степень реализации и удовлетворения жизненных потребностей населения. Результаты исследования. Уровень жизни населения – комплексная многогранная информационная система, отражающая степень благосостояния людей в определенной стране или регионе, что определяется уровнем экономического развития, доступностью систем образования и здравоохранения, уровнем доходов, состоянием и степенью развития инфраструктуры и других социальных условий. Обсуждение и заключения. Проведенный информационно-аналитический обзор подтверждает, что наличие существенной неоднородности и неравномерности регионального развития в России оказывает влияние на уровень жизни россиян, и это необходимо учитывать при формировании векторов социально-экономического развития в том или ином регионе. Одним из главных вызовов в 2023 г., в частности для России, является поддержание уровня развития институтов социальной сферы. Introduction. The article considers the category «standard of living» as complex, multifaceted, structured, dynamic socio-economic category. Expediency of its measurement and assessment at all levels of territorial aggregation on the basis of objective and subjective assessments is shown. It is necessary to take into account the impact on the indicators of the standard of living of the uneven regional development and the inclusion of social indicators in their information systems. The dynamics of the most important indicators of living standards in Russia and in the regions of the Southern Federal District are reflected. The review of rating estimates based on the value of the Human Development Index for 2022 was carried out. and the results of the informational and analytical review «Ipsos Global Trends» 2023, regarding global trends that determine consumer behavior and preferences and have a serious impact on the economic and social spheres. Materials and methods. The category «standard of living» is multidimensional and multifaceted, the measurement, analysis and evaluation of which is based on an integrated information system, reflecting the degree of realization and satisfaction of vital needs of the population. Results. The standard of living of the population is an integrated multifaceted information system that reflects the degree of well-being of people in a given country or region, which is determined by the level of economic development, access to education and health systems, income, state and degree of infrastructure and other social conditions. Discussion and conclusions. The conducted informational and analytical review confirms that the presence of significant heterogeneity and unevenness of regional development in Russia, has an impact on the standard of living of Russians, and it is necessary to take this into account in the formation of social vectorseconomic development in a region. One of the main challenges in 2023, in particular for Russia, is to maintain the level of development of social institutions.
