Abstract

In cancer, multiple factors converge upon receptor activator of nuclear factor κB (RANK) and its ligand (RANKL) signaling to promote the development of bone metastases; agents that inhibit RANKL signaling reduce skeletal-related events (SRE) in patients with cancer.
