Abstract

In this second article of the series The New Higher Education we bring 10 steps to prepare with theoretical and practical foundation the transformation. We bring to discussion the concepts of skill and competence, the definition of values and competencies as a focus, the importance of understanding values and competencies for institutional action, the mapping and connection of reality with the theoretical benchmarks of courses, the confusion between empirical and theoretical, the challenge of problematization, the re-signification of theories, inter-transdisciplinary planning, integrating projects, internship and course completion works.
