There is fierce competition for jobs as a healthcare assistant (HCA) or assistant practitioner (AP), so it is important to be well prepared for the interview process. Nowadays, job interviews can be conducted in person or online; in either case, the candidate needs to dress and act professionally, and to attend in good time, to impress the interviewer/s. Where the interview is being held online, it is the candidate's responsibility to make sure, in advance, that the technology works. Look at the job specification to ensure you have the skills needed. Practice your answers with a friend/colleague in advance.
