Abstract

The Board of Directors approved a pilot project from April 1 to December 31, 2021, to allow the experiment of the use of Healing Touch (HT), a holistic energy/complimentary therapy. The mandate to implement this project was granted to The Home’s social worker, including a team of three HT practitioners who offered free sessions to residents. Since then, to take good care until the end, Healing Touch is offered free of charge to residents and is included in the care and services offered by the Littoral Palliative Care House.
