Abstract
A methodology for constructing transformer simulation models with allowance for the design features is proposed. Several versions of transformer simulation models are developed in the MATLAB/Simulink SimPowerSystems environment, which are taken as their basic versions—functionally complete models that reflect the most essential properties of characteristic types of transformers and have varying degrees of versatility. It is shown that modification of the proposed models makes it possible to create a wide range of simulation models reflecting the specific features of a particular version of the transformer design for use as digital twins of transformers as part of a computer-aided design system at the stage of extended verification analysis. The simulation results are presented and analyzed.
