Results: It appears that the benefits in development are associated with aspects such as improvements in strengthening muscle tone, language, autonomy, motor coordination, tranquility and affectivity. Abstract

Objectives: to know and understand the contributions of Animal Assisted Therapy in the development of the individual and the restoration of health, in the conception of caregivers and family members.
