Abstract

The stressful working conditions in healthcare are well known. Healthcare professionals are confronted daily with unforeseen, demanding situations that contribute to a constant state ofalertness and vigilance. All these factors contribute to overwork, which manifests itself in the form of burnout, anxiety, depression and even counterproductive behavior in the workplace.
