Pada saat observasi penelitian ditemukanbeberapa masalah dalam proses pembelajaran, salah satunya siswakurangnya kreatifitas siswa dalam ketrampilan menulis teks deskripsi.Tujuan dari penelitian pengembangan yaitu menghasilkan produk berupamedia belanja kata dan gambar serta mengetahui kelayakan produk yangmeliputi: (validasi, keparaktisan, dan kemenarikan produk) media belanjakata dan gambar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahmetode R&D dengan model pengembangan 4-D. Produk yangdikembangkan kemudian diuji cobakan guna untuk mngetahui kelayakanproduk yang meliputi: validasi (ahli media dan ahli materi), kepraktisan(guru), dan kemenarikan (siswa). Data dianalisis menggunakan teknikanalisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Perolehan data kualitatif meliputi:wawancara, observasi, serta kritik dan saran yang diberikan responden.Sedangkan, pengumpulan data kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil angketresponden yang dihitung menggunakan kriteria kelayakan produk.Berikut hasil pengumpulan data kuantitatif untuk kelayakan produk: ahlimedia dengan total skor 77%, ahli materi dengan total skor 89%, gurudengan total skor 100%, dan siswa dengan total skor 95%. Dengan ini,produk media “belanja kata dan gambar” dapat dikualifikasi sagat layakdiimplementasikan di MTs. Sunan Ampel Ringinrejo.Abstract: This research wes motivated by the results of observationsthrough interviews with teachers of Indonesia language class VII in MTs.Sunan Ampel Ringinrejo. At the time of research observation, severalproblems were found in the learning process, one of which was the lack ofstudent creativity in writing descriptive text skills. The purpose ofdevelopment research is to produce products in the from of word and imageshopping media and to determinate the feaasibility of the product whichincludes: (validation, practicality, and produk attractiveness) word andimage shopping media. The method used in this research is the R&D methodwith a 4-D development model. The developed product is then tested inorder to determine the feasibility of the product which includes: validation(media experts an material experts), practility (teachers), and attactiveness(students). Date were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative dataanalysis techniquess. The acquisition of qualitative data includes:interviews, observations, as well as criticism and suggestions given byrespondents. Meanwhile, quantitative data collection from the results of therespondent’s questionnaire which was calculated using the producteligibiliy criteria. The following are the results of collecting quantitativedata for product feasibility: media experts with a total score of 77%,material expert with a total ssore of 89%, teachers with a total score of100%, and students with total score of 95%. With this, the media product“shopping word and pictures” can be qualified as very feasible to beimplemented in MTs.
