Conducted from 2016 to 2017, this is a multiple case study, carried out in three municipalities belonging to the health macro-region of Sobral, Ceará, Brazil. Information sources were documentary data (activity planning reports and photographic records), observation of the Nasf work process, following a structured script, and six focus groups with the Family Health (eSF) and Nasf teams.
