The conceptual framework used in the study was based onKing’s Goal attainment Theory. Results: Data analysis was done using descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings of the study revealed that the mean post-test knowledge score 25.57±3.202was significantly higher than the mean pre-test knowledge score 12.20±3.704(p<0.05). Paired t value computed at 30.28* was statistically significant at p<0.05, which revealed that, there is significant increase in the mean post-test knowledge score. Significant association at 0.05 level was observed between knowledge with regard to age and educational status.
