The study used a qualitative approach to collect data from a sample of Thungkhar Primary School in Thrimshing. Qualitative data were collected through interviews and observation from the teachers and students. The findings indicated that methods in improving students' writing benefited learners. The most significant teaching method to writing practiced or implemented was the process approach which is recommended by the national curriculum. One of the interesting findings of this research is that students in my schools preferred writing to speaking as they struggle with speaking. Similar to the other study highlights, the study found that both teaching and learning writing are complex. Abstract
