Abstract

Purpose. To investigate the impact of dry eye disease (DED) symptoms and the perception of indoor environmental quality (IEQ) on the wellbeing and social impact after work in openplan office worker cohort. Material and Methods. 64 office workers (m = 19; f = 45; mean age = 47.7 ± 9.3 (sd)), were recruited from a single workplace (local government, open-plan, 400 employees) and asked to complete a DED symptoms questionnaire (OSDI), and answer questions on general ocular health, perception of the IEQ, and social impact from DED symptoms.
