Abstract

The improvement of the technology of plasma deposition of wear-resistant coatings is shown. At the same time, special attention is paid to one of the most important parameters ― the thickness of the functional layer, since when using plasma deposition methods, it has a significant impact on the quality of coatings, as well as the functionality and productivity of the process. Based on the planning of the experiment, mathematical models have been developed that make it possible to establish the relationship between the coating thickness and the given technological parameters of the plasma spraying process. The results of the analysis of the dependences obtained showed that the thickness of the coating is most affected by the strength of the arc current of the plasma torch.
