For the study, based on three references piano teaching strategies for 21st century teachers, successful piano teaching methods, and general theory of piano pedagogy, the study categorizes 10 techniques within the beginner learning goals. Next, the beginner techniques for each textbook are analyzed into the 10 types above. As a result, it was found that 7-8 techniques were evenly distributed through the three characteristic techniques icons, and that other techniques were classified as additional techniques and intermediate techniques. Accordingly, though detailed comparison and analysis, similar techniques are grouped and supplementary and characteristic techniques are selected. Abstract
