Analyzing the Relationships between Servant Leadership, and Organizational Commitment: an Applied Study on Petroleum Sector Companies in the Arab Republic of Egypt

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to analyzing and examine the impact of Servant Leadership on Organizational Commitment on the petroleum sector in Egypt. Design/methodology/approach: The research sample consisted of 384 employees of oil and gas companies in Egypt. To test the hypotheses of the study, using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS V26) for both descriptive and inferential statistics, and (Smart PLS 3.2.7) for SEM-PLS modeling to test the significance of the model. Findings: The results of the research concluded that there is a significant positive effect of servant leadership on organizational commitment. It suggests that leaders in the petroleum industry could benefit from a better understanding and application of servant leadership principles to increase organizational commitment, which could lead to improved performance
