Re: GPE Trust Fund Grant No. TFO 18066 (Improving Pre-Primary and General Secondary Education Project) Performance Monitorini Indicators Dear Sirs and Mesdames: This refers to paragraph A. 1, Section II of the Schedule 2 to the GPE Trust Fund Grant Agreement of even date herewith between the Republic of Uzbekistan (the Recipient) and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development / International Development Association (collectively, the "World Bank" or "Bank"), acting as administrator of the Global Partnership for Education Trust Fund (GPE), for the above referenced Project. The Recipient hereby confirms to the World Bank that the indicators set forth in the attachment to this letter shall serve as a basis for the Recipient to monitor and evaluate the progress of the Project and the achievement of the objectives thereof Very truly yours, REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN
