The multi-model input multi-output (MMI-IM) drive coupled with a fuzzy logic controller is used in the solution that has been suggested. A range of robustness measurements, including as peak overshoot, inverter settling time, and total harmonic distortion (THD), are used to assess the performance of the controllers. The intelligent controller, IM drive, and MMI are all components of the suggested control approach for water pumping applications that are used in the marine industry. To enhance both the efficiency and usefulness of the system, the methodology that has been suggested makes use of several intelligent control strategies. Abstract

In this paper, we describe the outcomes of our investigation into the design and construction of a modular multilevel inverter (MMI) using intelligent control approaches to manage the induction motor (IM) drive in marine water pumping applications.
