Abstract

It needs a triggered time to open or close optical gate of the ICCD. The duration time is defined as irising effect time. Although it only lasts a few nanoseconds and often be ignored by users, it can still interfere with the results in some applications such as fluorescence lifetime imaging and gated imaging.
