The image of “our house” in the works of V.D. Prishvina

Abstract

In the article, based on the material of V.D. Prishvina's prose, first of all, the book “Our House” examines the features of the manor-country topos in her work. The features of the book — its memoir and literary character, the involvement of a large number of diary entries by M.M. Prishvin — allow the author to also explore the main features of the manor topos in Prishvin's texts. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the relationship between estate construction and literary creativity, the organization of museum space in the estate.
