THE CURRENT SITUATION OF THE MOUNTAIN GLACIERS OF UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

The condition of glaciers in the mountainous regions of Uzbekistan, in the upper reaches of the Piskem, Kashkadarya and Surkandarya rivers, is considered. As well as a reduction in fresh water supplies due to global warming. The results of studies of glaciers in recent years are presented.
