Abstract

Tellurite glasses with different concentration of praseodymium (Pr3+) ion was produced by melt-quenching technique. The effect of Pr3+ concentration on optical and luminescence properties was presented. The optical absorption spectra of Pr3+ ions in glasses were recorded in the UV-VIS-NIR region.
