Abstract

The aim of the paper is to intensify the heat exchange process by means of studding pipes in a heat exchanger. Thanks to the studded pipes, the area of the heat exchange surface is signifi-cantly increased, which allows for more efficient heat exchange. The sheets are applied to the pipe using an EM-14M electrometallizer. Metallized surfaces make it possible to achieve a high-er heat transfer coefficient, in comparison with a smooth pipe, and reduce the metal consump-tion of heat exchange equipment
