Abstract

The paper presents the basic designs of reactors for carrying out gas-liquid processes, in par-ticular, the process of liquid-phase chlorination of ethylene and its instrumentation are consid-ered. The main methods for producing 1,2-dichloroethane are analyzed, their advantages and disadvantages are noted.
