Construction of a Discriminant Model for an Integral Assessment of Innovative Development of Regions

Abstract

The author of the article has formed a three-factor set of indicators for assessing the innovative development of regions. Based on the actual values of indicators for two groups of regions with different characteristics of the innovation process, a discriminant model was formed and a boundary value for its aggregate indicator was obtained. The result of the study was the development of a criterion that makes it easy to characterize the level of innovative development of regions. The author intends to further improve the model by expanding the set of indicators.
