Abstract

Education is very important to help shape a person. The application and srtgthening of the caracter of student in the modern era currently has its own challenges, especially for teachers in Indonesia. These challenges are also faced by students themsesves in the era of imformation technology development which is veryfast and easy to achieve. In this modern era, as a strong nation, we must have principles in the life of the nation and state. Implementation of character education in schools that really needs the competence of teachers who can compete in this modern era. In the current modern era, the application and development of character velues finds significant obstacles compared to the past is this influenced by developments that occur around students. Therefore, creativity and innovation between families/ parents and teachers is carried out in two directions, namely positionsing yourself to be a good listener for children or students at home/ at school.
