Anemia is especially prevalent among adolescent girls. The prevalence of anemia according to the World Health Organization (WHO), 2017 ranges from 40-88%. The results of Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) data in 2018 indicate that the prevalence of anemia increased from 37.1% in Riskesdas 2013 to 48.9% in 2018. The purpose of the study was to assess the determinants of anemia in adolescent girls aged 14-17 years at State High School (SMAN) 9 Makassar, Indonesia. Methods: The study was conducted at a State Senior High School in Makassar. With cross-sectional design.
