Abstract

As the incoming general editor of the Journal of European Studies, I would like to pay tribute to my predecessor and former colleague at the University of Kent, John Flower, and his Reviews Editor, Tony Cross, who carried out their roles for an incredible 51 years. The contributions to this issue were originally accepted for publication by John Flower. We will resume publishing book reviews in the June issue.
