The aim was to investigate whether iopromide or iohexol has any diagnostic advantages for the opacification of the kidneys, the renal pelves, and the ureters. The results show that there is no difference in contrast quality between the two substances (chi-square, p greater than 0.1). Moreover there is no difference in the frequency of concomitant symptoms (chi-square, p greater than 0.1).
