TV advertising highlights energy wastage in UK industry

Abstract

A new advertising campaign, called ‘Lifeblood’, highlights the fact that British small business is wasting as much as 30% of its energy consumption. With small and medium enterprises (SMEs) facing an annual energy bill of £3.5 billion (US$6 billion), this amounts to a total loss of £1.1bn ($1.9bn), or £7000 ($12 000) on average per business.
