Attitude scale towards Turkish lesson was used as a data collection tool in the research. Data were collected before and after the implementation of linguistics-based activities prepared for narrative and artistic texts. The analysis of the data was analyzed with the dependent sample t test and Wilcoxon signed ranks test used in the analysis of replicate measurements for the same groups. Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal the effect of linguistics-based text analysis activities on the attitudes of secondary school 7th grade students towards Turkish course.
