The transmission percentage was verified against the wave number. The peak values of FT-IR were recorded, and the functional groups were predicted using Aldrich and Sigma IR chart table. The analysis revealed the presence of different types of compounds such as alkene, sulfoxide, esters, aromatic compounds, isothiocyanate etc. The observed results showed the similarities and variation between the gametophytes and sporophytes of Phlebodium aureum. Abstract
