Prospects for Introducing Digitalization Tools for Accounting Processes at Ukrainian Enterprises

Abstract

The article provides interpretations of the concept of "digitalization" by various researchers, identifies the advantages of digitalization technologies for accounting processes, considers the main differences between automation and digitalization, provides examples of digitalization tools in accounting, highlights the results of research on the impact of digitalization tools on accounting processes, analyzes popular programs for digitizing accounting processes, which include QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, Wave Accounting, and the popular cloud storages Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Box, and Amazon S3 were explored.
