Analysis of The Pollution of Agricultural Territories of Ukraine and the Possibility of Applying International Innovative Approaches to Solving the Problem

Abstract

The article analyzes the main indicators that characterize the degree of environmental pollution, the level of expenses for the elimination of the consequences of pollution and the level of application of innovations for the purpose of ecological production: Global index of food security, Global index of waste, Volume of costs for waste management by type of disposal, depending on the level of the country's income, the main indicators that determine the resource intensity of waste, the Global Innovation Index. Innovative approaches and policies of EU countries in the fight against waste and greening of production have been studied. The directions of the development of environmental policy of Ukraine at the stage of European integration are characterized.
