The Analysis of the Syntactic Interference and the Ways of Its Expression in a Text on the Example of Spanglish

Abstract

The problem of syntactic interference, in particular, of its expression in a text, is being investigated. As the example, the syntax of such mixed language as Spanglish that is based on the interference and the interaction of the English and the Spanish languages is being analyzed. To illustrate the subtypes of the syntactic interference, a number of literary works written in Spanglish have been analyzed, on the basis of which patterns have been derived in the manifestation of the syntactic interference types in this mixed language.
