Abstract

In the article, the author tries to prove the legality of military operation by Russia on the territory of Ukraine within the framework of international law and the doctrine of humanitarian intervention. One of the circumstances of the escalation of the conflict is the discrimination of the Russian-speaking population. The doctrine of humanitarian intervention is aimed at preventing large-scale human casualties, including those related to genocide.
