Abstract
Frib. y Geheebia erosa (J.A. Through collections in 61 localities, the bryophytic flora of the Genal Valley is studied. A total of 154 taxa form the bryophytic diversity of the studied territory, 131 are mosses, 21 liverworts and 2 hornworts. Cephaloziella calyculata (Durieu et Mont.) Müll. Frib. and Geheebia erosa (J.A. Jiménez et J. Guerra) J.A. Jiménez et M.J. Cano are cited for the first time in Andalusia. Acaulon mediterraneum Limpr. and Pohlia annotina (Hedw.) Lindb. are new records for the Malaga province. Taking into account their ecological behavior and habitats, the main bryophyte communities of the territory are described.
