The relationship was analyzed between the adolescents' average scores on the Needs Satisfaction Scale and the Information Technologies Usage Scale and their age, number of siblings, and overall grade point averages. The relationship was determined between the social networks used by adolescents (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, Linkedin, Snapchat, Tiktok, and WhatsApp) and their basic psychological needs and use of information technologies. It was found that the Information Technology Usage Scale was predicted by age and basic psychological needs. Abstract
