FEATURES OF VENTURE FINANCING AND INNOVATIVE PROJECTS IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY

Abstract

The article analyzes the identified features of venture financing and innovative projects, taking into account the impact of digitalization, including: an increase in investment, a change in the risk assessment process, an increase in the importance of intellectual property, the digital economy creates a large amount of data, the development of cryptocurrencies and blockchain, the growth of competition and the development of digital platforms. The author refers to the functions of venture capital: accumulation of money savings of investors, which are then directed to the development of promising innovations; providing innovative enterprises with managerial skills and business experience; redistribution of capital by providing investments to innovative enterprises; stimulating innovation: integration of science, education and production; social function. The paper also defines the role and advantages of the activities of venture investors.
