Abstract

Herein, we report, a simple breath sensor based on Au/PVDF nanocomposites. Au nanostructures have been synthesized by using a simple seed mediated growth method. The synthesized Au nanostructures exhibited uniform spherical morphology with average diameter ~20 nm, confirmed by FESEM analysis. The synthesized nanostructures were further used to form nanocomposites with Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF).
