Fully turbulent models are not able to show this feature of the airfoil flow. Abstract

The paper reports the results of a study concerned with the influence of the size of the leading edge laminar bubble on the aerodynamic characteristics of the HGR01 airfoil. The completely turbulent and transient flows are considered.
