What Aristotle and Hollywood Taught Me About Psychoanalysis

Abstract

ABSTRACTDrawing on Aristotle’s Poetics and my work as a screenwriter in Hollywood, I look to some commonalities in the ways dramatists and psychoanalysts generate meaning through action and interactions.
