Culture management in the USSR in the 1970s: historical and legal aspect

Abstract

The article analyzes the organizational and legal foundations of state management of culture in the USSR in the 1970s on the basis of normative acts and official documents of that time. The strengths and weaknesses of the structural and functional construction of the public administration system of this industry are revealed. The possibilities of using the past managerial experience in the activities of public administration of culture in modern conditions are considered.
