One of the most important cultural events of 2022 in Poland was undoubtedly the 16 Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition – the oldest violin competition in the world, commemorating the Polish virtuoso and composer, Henryk Wieniawski (1835–1880), taking place every five years in Poznań.
