The relevance of the research problem in this article lies in the need to generalize and systematize theoretical and practical knowledge related to the problem of predicting the influence of music on the psycho-emotional and physical state of a person. The article discusses the question of what effect music has on the psycho-emotional state of the student and his creative abilities. For this purpose, a short-term study was conducted with students. In the course of the study, the method «Music Graphics» was used. Music graphics are a unique way of visualizing by creating the impression of music through any visual media. The study studied the impact of various musical styles, including classical music, modern and rock music, on the psycho-emotional state of a person. As a result of the study, it was found that all styles of music affect the psycho-emotional state and creative abilities of students in different ways, and it was concluded that classical works and modern music had a positive effect, in particular, there was an improvement in mood, and listening to rock music had a negative effect on the psycho-emotional state of a person.
