FIRST RECORD OF SCOLIOSIS IN THE WESTERN MARBLED WHIPTAIL, Aspidoscelis marmorata (BAIRD & GIRARD, 1852)

Abstract

Herein, we report the first case of caudal scoliosis in an adult male of Aspidoscelis marmorata in a population located in far west Texas, in the northern Chihuahuan Desert. This record also represents the second taxon in the genus Aspidoscelis where this condition has been documented.
