Organizational and economic aspects of the use of Indian-made tractors in business subjects of Russia

Abstract

The study presents the main manufacturers of agricultural machinery and tractors in India, their share in total production, dynamics in recent years. The production of tractors in India over the past 70 years has been analyzed. It is mainly focused on the production of tractors with an engine power of up to 50 hp. Indian-made tractors that have appeared on the Russian market have a rather high energy saturation, which will allow using ballast weights to obtain satisfactory traction properties and high performance properties. When determining the economic efficiency of using tractors, it was revealed that the Indian-made Solis 90 tractor is practically not inferior to Chinese-made tractors, and surpasses them in a number of parameters.
