The primary objective of this article is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the primary characteristics of the US foreign policy during the Post-Cold War period, with a particular focus on the period between 1991 and 2000. To accomplish the stated objective, this study seeks to comprehensively investigate the central characteristics and factors of the foreign policy approach adopted by the US government in the international relations system after the Cold War. This involves an in-depth analysis of the foreign policy positions and approaches of the first US President of the post-Cold War period, Bill Clinton. Abstract
The termination of the Cold War and the subsequent collapse of the Soviet Union marked a significant shift in the international relations system, which prompted the United States, as a dominant global power, to address the pressing need to develop and implement new foreign policy strategies and concepts.
