Abstract

The relevance of the research topic is connected precisely with its interdisciplinarity: the presented theological text is considered from several viewpoints: historical, socio-psychological and, more broadly, from ethnocultural. When presenting the given plot, our task was to show, using the example of the history of one miraculous image, the theory of the embodiment of the spirit, the national time in literature and culture. At the same time, we have clearly defined that each historical time has its own image of the world and ideas about it. With the purpose of the research, we have outlined one or two episodes from the extensive scientific and artistic literature related to the Hogeats vank Monastery from the writings of Bishop Garegin Srvandztyants, we have also turned to the corresponding pages of two “Greetings” by Khrimyan Hayrik, examined issues related to the vow of the Virgin and the pilgrimage to Van-Vaspurakan parts of "Sparks” novel of Raffi. The study has been conducted using the comparative-historical and mythological methods.
