To enhance the scientificity of water management and promote the healthy development of a new energy economy, this paper discusses the application of blockchain technology in water management and the development of a new energy economy on the basis of analyzing its current situation. To verify the effectiveness of blockchain technology, this paper took S City as the research object, applied the decision model based on blockchain technology to water management and new energy economic development optimization decisions, and made an empirical analysis from three aspects: water management effect, new energy economic development level, and overall effect. The results showed that under the blockchain decision-making model, the development level of water management, the new energy economy, and their coordinated development level in 2013 were 0.527, 0.535, and 0.602, respectively. Abstract
